Dru Goryn

I started stone carving in 2001 and was lucky enough to be mentored by Esther Melamed, a brilliant sculptor, who taught me so much. I sculpt in a dusty workshop in our garden and have a variety of natural stones waiting for inspiration. I carve both figurative and abstract pieces. I have been lucky enough to carve a few commissions, which is extremely satisfying. During 2020 I took up painting using acrylics, and enjoy the freedom painting allows.
