Richard Bray

Sculptor

I have been working with wood sculpture since the 80s, and since moving to Great Wilbraham have exhibited, been commissioned and collected widely. I have work in six Cambridge colleges as well as large work at the Genome Campus, Hinxton.

The drawing began eight years ago, and both these and the sculpture involve repetitious actions over a structural system that produces rhythm and which is directly related to viewpoint and perception. I am a Member of the Royal Society of Sculpture and my studio is usually open during Cambridge Open Studios weekends in July.
