Although I have done quite a lot of drawing and painting over the years my main focus during the past forty has been what might be termed arty technical illustration for the British Gliding Association and their related publication, Sailplane and Gliding. As a kind of brain exercising sideline - rather better than doing the crossword - I also write music.

Despite being told, people occasionally ask me what I really do. The usual reply is that I spend a lot of time wondering if I really ought to be doing something else.
